CRDF: The primary goal of the Small Grants Program is to enhance opportunities for faculty, especially junior faculty, at the University of Pittsburgh to engage in high-quality research, scholarship, and creative endeavors. Kabirul's proposal, entitled "Allele-specific approach to study DNA demethylation" has been approved for funding. Samuel and Emma Winters Foundation: The Foundation annually awards five to six small grants for biomedical research to investigators at several institutions in the greater Pittsburgh area. Kabirul's proposal, entitled "Design and Development of Chemical Modulators for Oncogenic TET2 Mutants" has been approved for funding.
