The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California Santa Barbara invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Chemistry, to begin Fall 2018. Outstanding candidates with research and teaching interests in any area of theoretical chemistry are invited to apply.

For primary consideration applications should be submitted by October 1, 2017, but the position will remain open until filled. A PhD in chemistry or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment.
